Another day, another new development in the Stormy Daniels’ saga. According to Trump ‘s lawyer, Michael Cohen, Trump is now seeking to not only shut Daniels’ up — he is also seeking up to $20m in damages. Court documents via Essential Consultants (the phony company Cohen set up in 2016 to filter the money to Daniels’) made the legal filing Friday, in hopes, that Stormy’s attempts to talk even in the slightest would be quashed.
For the first time, to date, Trump has confirmed that he has joined the case. “He intends to pursue his rights to the fullest extent of the law” reads a partial statement from Cohen.
Furthermore, Cohen is seeking to indefinitely move the dispute with Daniels’ to private arbitration, so, of course, the public won’t get to see what actually happened.
