Good news for Target employees. According to the Minneapolis based retailer, because of such good employee pool growth (and applicants), the chain has once again decided to raise its minimum wage. Target confirmed in e-mails to The Daily Fix today, that, starting here soon employees will be bumped up to $12 h/r (up from $11 h/r).
For the most part, Target has been on par to keep true to its word that by 2020 they will join everybody else in a $15 h/r minimum wage kind of world. Target minds the jump in pay to the fact that they’ve now began attracting better qualified employees, and therefore, felt the need to better benefit everybody.
