HONG KONG — Good news for China’s power hungry XI Jinping, bad news, for any normal human being whom is terrified of a totalitarian regime. According to government officials, an upcoming meeting in the centralized capital, will probably lead to XI Jinping becoming the latest modern figure to indefinitely hold office in China.
The ruling Communist Party apparently proposed the idea, per the AP, to remove the clause in the constitution that would bar the President and his Vice President from serving beyond two terms in power.
It is the latest move by the centralized government to cement power within XI Jinping, practically, until he dies. Meanwhile, experts are scratching their heads as to what this means for the international community.
