In damning court docs that surfaced online today, Steve Wynn’s behavior was all but apparently a secret. The Daily News first uncovered a 42-page lawsuit filed by shareholders who claim that the board of directors “knowingly knew that Wynn was sexually assault women, and, knew of his lewd behavior for years. Their knowledge put this business and the jobs of many at stake” says one shareholder who preferred to remain anonymous.
“Wynn knowingly and intentionally breached his fiduciary duties by engaging in a pattern of intentional egregious misconduct and violations of law involving Wynn Resorts,” reads the 42-page lawsuit as it goes on.
The lawsuit comes as Wynn stepped down from his namesake company on Tuesday. The New York Daily News has come on the lawsuit against Wynn and its board.
