Prince is coming back to life (sort of) in a newly formed concert agreement to be held at Paisley Park in Minneapolis. According to a press release from Prince’s estate, Prince: Live on the Big Screen is set to come to life on 21 April. The concert will reportedly feature several unreleased recordings, and, the estate will apparently also broadcast it online.
The “newly remastered and never-before-released audio and video of Prince accompanied live on the Target Center stage by a super-group of musicians who performed alongside Prince throughout his legendary career. The live experience will showcase Prince in his own inimitable sound and style, highlighting the incendiary energy he brought to each performance” reads the press release.
A full calendar of events is scheduled to take place 19 April through 22 April at his estate honoring his life and legacy.
